Thanks this version works great for full recovery(i think the best version to date),but not so great if you just want to recover 1 file or folder from a backed up CD/DVD.The stupid program says the backed up image is password protected even when it is not and won't let you open it.It doesn't do it all the time,,but usually just when you really need it.Acronis says they are working on a patch to fix it.

Tnx for the extra info.

I use this prog myself and I only use it for complete system backup and If you use the safemode in bootup rescue It works fine.

Still some improvements have to made that's clear.

But even when I switched Prim,Active with a second OS I still could get verything back to normal.

Making a backup in Windows goes very fast.

Nice if you run 2x OS, XP in my case you always can restore from the other OS as well works fine for me.

@moodyblue,

I upgraded from version 8.0.796 to version 9.0.2337 in last April, and I'm VERY SATISFIED with this version.

My OS is WinXP SP2 Pro Corp., English release.
