Blue Thunder (1983)

Blue Thunder is a specially modified helicopter. It is for police work, but is armed and designed to counter street insurgencies. It's makers want to show what it will do, but have to train a Los Angeles Police pilot Frank Murphy, to fly and use it in order to allow it to operate in the city. Murphy and the project pilot have differences going back to Vietnam. The conflict between them continues to heat up as Murphy begins to suspect that Blue Thunder is more than has been disclosed.

City Heat (1984)

Kansas City in the 1930s: Private investigator Mike Murphy's partner is brutally slayed, when he tries to blackmail a mobster with his secret accounting records. Lieutenant Speer (Burt Reynolds) and his ex-colleague Mike Murphy (Clint Eastwood) team up again to fight the mob, although they can't stand each other: while Speer is taciturn, Murphy is a prattler.

My Stepmother Is An Alien (1988)

Widowed astronomer Steven Mills (Dan Aykroyd) accidentally sends a great surge of energy out into space, threatening life on another world. They respond by dispatching one of their race disguised in deliberately attractive human form (Kim Basinger) to Earth to sort things out, accompanied by a rather less attractive superior (The Bag voiced by Ann Prentiss). Steven is indeed attracted, as is his untrustworthy brother, while Celeste becomes increasingly fond of Steven's young daughter.

Airplane! 2 (1982)

Another fantastic movie. Airplane! was fabulous this one was almost just as good. Instead of a plane we have a space shuttle and this is set in futuristic times. One thing this movie missed was the presence of Leslie Nielsen(except in a flashback from the first movie). Once again I'd have to say Stephen Stucker had many of the movies funniest lines in his role as Jacobs. William Shatner replaces Robert Stack in the role of talking Striker down...however I think Stack was a little better. Nevertheless this is a very, very funny movie. Keeps you laughing from the beginning to the end.
