Long Range Shooting Simulation

The popular long-range shooting mil dot ranging training simulation.

For PC's or Mac's.

Realistic controls, including a 20 power zoom, sound effects and scenery make this a simulation as close as you can get to field practice at home on your computer.

All without wasting a single round of ammunition.

Nothing else like it:
Three calibers. Along with the standard .308, 175 grain, also practice with a Windrunner .338 and 50 caliber.

The calculations for the .338 are based on a 250 grain bullet loaded and recommended by Black Hills Ammunition. Knock down targets out to 2000 yards with a 50 caliber Windrunner.

Mil Dot Ranging:
Practice Mil Dot ranging on three target sizes.
A 12" X 12" swinging plate, a 30" X 18" knock down plate and a regulation 72" X 19" knock down plate.
Each caliber has 70 different range exercises, plus an advanced stage for each caliber with 25 different timed hold-offs and moving targets.

Add in different atmospheric extremes and you get almost 300 different ranging scenarios.

Not a game:
This  is a training simulation.

The result of each shot is exactly calculated to show where the bullet hits on the target.
This simulation graphically displays how wind, altitude, and temperature affect the bullet in flight.
The results for distance are given in both meters and yards.

Bonus Stages:
The CD has five bonus stages.
There are two .308 stages, one with a 168 grain bullet and one 190 grain out of a 300 WinMag.
In addition, there is a .223 (5.56) , a .264, and an experimental .408 based on the Chey Tac bullet.
Each bonus range has ten stages and three different target sizes.

Interactive Classrooms:
Learn how to mil dot range, scope the wind, how to use a range card and engage moving targets in Classroom modules.
Every shooter should understand minute of angle and exterior ballistics.
These subjects and more are also explained with interactive tests.

Realistic controls, including a 20 power zoom, sound effects and scenery make this a simulation as close as you can get to field practice at home on your computer.

All without wasting a single round of ammunition.

Win XP.x64/XP/2k/2k3/NT4.0/95/98/98SE/ME

info

Jetico BCWipe
Software is designed to securely delete files from the disk.
Standard file deletion leaves the contents of the "deleted" file on your disk.
Unless it has been overwritten by files subse-quently saved, it can be easily recovered using standard disk utilities.
BCWipe is fully integrated into the Windows Shell and efficiently shreds data in files so that they can not be recovered by any means.

The BCWipe software is intended to give you confidence that erased files cannot be recovered by an intruder.
BCWipe can be run from My Computer as well as from a command-line prompt.
BCWipe v.3 is a powerful set of utilities which complies with the US DoD 5200.28-STD standard and Peter Gutmann wiping scheme.
You can also create and use you own customized wiping scheme to shred sensitive information from storage devices, installed on your computer.

The BCWipe system provides the following ways to shred contents of deleted files:

Delete with wiping
Using this command in the context menus of 'My computer' window, you can delete and wipe files or folders, as well as selected group of files or folders.

Wipe free disk space
To completely remove all the traces of the earlier deleted files, use this command to wipe free space on the disk, where these files were stored.

Swap file wiping
BCWipe utility has an optional switch for wiping unused portion of Windows Swap File, where the operating system can potentially store parts of files, earlier opened by applications.

Files slacks wiping
File slack is the disk space from the end of a file up to end of the last cluster used by that file.
You can turn on/off file slack wiping before running BCWipe commands.

Directory entries wiping
Directory entry is a reserved space on a disk, where the filesystem stores names and attributes of files.
Any file that has been 'deleted' by Windows, can get its name restored by unerasing utilities.
BCWipe shreds directory entries so that the information cannot be recovered.

Wiping a whole hard drive
This function allows the wiping of entire hard drives which is useful where the user sells or disposes of the computer of hard disk or where the computer is re-assigned to another user.
The BCWipe system includes command-line BCWipePD utility which can be used for all physical sectors on disk.

The following BCWipe system utilities allows users to control the wiping process and enhance security of

Windows system Swap File:
BCWipe Task Manager
The utility allows the user to schedule BCWipe so that it runs at convenient times.
You can set a time for running the task, as well as special options for the task.

Swap File Encrypting utility
Swap File is the Windows system file that is used for virtual memory support, and it can store parts of documents, you are working with, in an opened form on your hard drive.
Even if an original document is encrypted by some powerful encryption program, Windows can copy an entire document or part of it to the Swap file in an opened form. Encryption keys, passwords, and other sensitive information can also be swapped to your hard drive.
Even if you use all of the security features of the latest versions of Windows, simply investigating the Swap file in DOS mode with readily available tools may allow for significant data retrieval.
BCWipe allows you to encrypt the Swap file providing you with additional data security.

Hexadecimal File Viewer
Using the Viewer you can examine contents of files after wiping.
The utility is useful for investigating a quality of wiping process, for example when you use a custom wiping scheme.

Jetico BestCrypt v.8.05.1 w fix
Jetico BestCrypt v.8.05.1 w fix
Jetico, Inc.
Win 95/98/ME/NT/2k/XP/Vista.32-bit
"http://www.jetico.com/bcrypt8.htm"

info

Jetico BestCrypt
Allows you to allocate a portion (container) of free space on your drive where you can keep your sensitive data in encrypted form.
It creates a virtual drive that can be used from Window Explorer just like any other drive.
You can move files into the drive, work with files or documents from the drive etc.
As soon as you dismount the drive(s) though your data will be protected using strong encryption algorithms, including Blowfish, GOST, and DES.
BestCrypt creates and supports encrypted virtual disks and these disks are visible as regular disks with correspondent drive letters
(for example, D:, K:, Z:, i.e. with any drive letter that is not used by other system devices).

BestCrypt allows encrypting data with many encryption algorithms (AES, Blowfish, Twofish, CAST and others).

Every algorithm is implemented with the largest possible key size defined in the algorithm's specification.
BestCrypt v.8 can utilize LRW Encryption Mode, which is specially designed for applications working on disk sector level and more secure than other popular modes used earlier (like Cipher Block Chaining (CBC) mode).

BestCrypt version 8 provides users with a higher security level as well as with a set of new functions.
Besides, there are several ways of encrypting data in version 8:
- Storing encrypted data in containers and accessing the data through virtual drives (as earlier versions of the software do)

- Encrypting set of files into a single compressed and, if needed, self-extracting archive

- Encrypting and accessing transparently whole Windows partitions/volumes.

The data stored on a BestCrypt disk is stored in the container file.
A container is a file, so it is possible to backup a container, move or copy it to other disk (CD-ROM or network, for instance) and continue to access your encrypted data using BestCrypt.
Any free drive letter in the system may be used to mount and to open an encrypted file-container for access.
When the virtual disk is opened, you can read and write data as if it were a conventional removable disk.

BestCrypt containers may be stored on an unlimited number of physical drives.
Any type of physical media may be used to store and access the data on the BestCrypt containers: hard drives, removable media, magneto-optical devices and others.
Any network accessible disk may be used by BestCrypt software for creating and accessing file-containers.
This network disk may be shared by a server with any operating system, for example UNIX-like operating systems (OSF/1, LINUX, BSD, SunOS, HP/UX, AIX and others), Novell, Windows NT/2000/XP, Windows 95/98, Windows 3.xx and others.

Changelog: 7-June-2008
Control Panel v.8.05.1
