hi guys
this is a criticized version of DW
it was launched when Adobe bough Macromedia and immediately killed their name. Moreover, the new version is nothing special with very little added. It has been widely criticized for not delivering any innovations.
The NEW CS4 ( now in pre-launch testing) is really improved in respect to DW8 ( and CS9 or v.9) and shoul be realesed soon.
My personal recommendation : get v.8 or wait for CS4. Also bear in mind, that if you build relatively simple sites in html/css you really don't need to wait for CS4 and rely completely on v.8 .
In any case, this is one of the best pieces of software for site builders.
Let's hope Adobe will not inflate it, as yjey usually do to anything theu touch...
