AmpliTube X-GEAR also seamlessly integrates right out of the box with StompIO, the USB stage controller and audio interface for AmpliTube, giving you complete control over your entire rig, live and in the studio.
With AmpliTube X-GEAR + StompIO, for the first time, you can fully control live a monstrous, software based setup with over 150, highly sought-after, multiple award-winning modeled gear, in the same way you would use a traditional floor processor, with no need to connect a keyboard, monitor or mouse to operate your Mac/PC.
In a live environment, simply plug the StompIO into your computer and you are ready to play a staggering 4,000 presets made of double series/parallel rigs with all their parameters immediately available, pre-assigned and fully editable through the StompIO oversized displays, 6 dynamic rotary knobs, 10 footswitches and up to 6 external expression pedals, without ever taking your hands off your instrument!
In the studio working with your preferred DAW, you will be able to fully record and automate your guitar or bass tracks without putting down your instrument or doing tedious post-editing operations.
Additionally X-GEAR can also be operated with traditional MIDI controllers for basic up/down preset switching, stomp on/off switching and wah/volume operation, with simple association and MIDI learn functionality.
Simply install AmpliTube X-GEAR and you will be able to start it as a stand-alone application or instantiate it as a VST/RTAS/AU plug-in in your preferred Mac/PC DAW.
X-GEAR will automatically detect all the “Powered by AmpliTube” products installed in your system and will present you the traditional easy-to-use AmpliTube interface with tuner, stomp pedal board, amp, cabinet + mic and post effects modules.
In each of these modules, by clicking on the model selection pop ups, X-GEAR will present you a hierarchical menu with immediate access to each of the modeled gear for that specific module, grouped by product that were installed in your system, so you can build your dream-rig combining each of these gear models in the simplest and quickest way.
Additionally, X-GEAR provides buttons for accessing the Automation of each parameter in your DAW sequencer, traditional MIDI controller integration with MIDI learn function, and StompIO one-click connection.
