Another good post on a lame server!

Maybe I am wasting my time with this post, but ........

Does it annoy you to find what looks like an excellent post, read all the info, get all excited about finding it - only to realise it has beeen posted by some lamer on some lame server? It does me!

I'm not going to get into a mud slinging contest here - but we all know who the lamers are!

As it happens, the above does not happen with one guy's posts. SpaceGoat has a little comment next to his title  - "RS LINK" (or similar). You know its SpaceGoat before you go any further (so you know it is a good post!)

But if admin would change the code so that the name of the poster appeared directly under the title, there would be no problem with any post.

But getting anything done here is, shall we say, rather slow .......

No fanfare, no press release. And no wonder!!!!

Microsoft drop WGA from Internet Explorer

"For the benefit and security of everyone - including pirates", Microsoft now will allow anyone to download IE7. Could it really be because Firefox is gaining ground on IE? Why am I so cynical?

Acronis True Image 11 - USER REVIEW

For several years now (and several versions) I have "computed with confidence" (the Acronis catchphrase).  On several occasions True Image has got me out of the brown smelly stuff after catching a nasty at some dodgy site or with some dodgy download. Only 10 minutes later and my OS is reinstalled as clean as a whistle.
