Novarm Limited, a known developer of PCB design software, announces the release of DipTrace 1.50, a fully functional software package. DipTrace is bundled with 4 Novarms front-end modules, Schematic, PCB Layout, Pattern Editor and Component Editor. This smart tool is aimed at small and medium businesses, incorporating a series of advanced capabilities. Version 1.50 is the culmination of collaborative relationships with many PCB designers worldwide, in the U.S., Europe and Asia.
This ECAD software has a very intuitive user interface and many innovative features that most marketed PCB Design packages lack. Among its new features OpenGL/Direct3D support, vector font, panelizing, copper pour island removal, advanced selection tools and many others. With DipTrace 1.50 you can select OpenGL or Direct3D mode to optimize graphics speed on large Schematics and PCBs. Island removal allows to remove internal or unconnected islands from copper pours. Panelizing feature allows to export several instances of the PCB to gerber/drill file or printer. A series of handy hotkeys, advanced selection tools, bulk connecting of vias/pads, different grid step for Y and more new features have been added. Updated libraries include 9000+ new components. DipTrace 1.50 runs native on WinNT/2000/XP platforms.
