Moon Pilot (1962) VHSRip Brian Keith

When Charlie the chimp successfully orbits the moon, a reluctant volunteer, Capt Richard Talbot is next in line. But the fiercely organized plans of mission director Gen. Venneman go hysterically awry when Rich is approached by a suspected spy, the beautiful, mysterious Lyrae. It seems that Lyrae has a vital -- and quite unearthly -- bit of information that will save the mission from failure, but the army and the FBI quickly launch their own project -- an elaborate plan to keep Rich and Lyrae apart. The results is an out-of-this-world comedy/fantasy in true classic Disney style.

The Uninvited (1944) VHSRip Ray Milland

A brother and sister move into an old seaside house they find abandoned for many years on the English coast. Their original enchantment with the house diminishes as they hear stories of the previous owners and meet their daughter (now a young woman) who now lives as a neighbor with her grandfather. Also heard are unexplained sounds during the night. It becomes obvious that the house is haunted. The reasons for the haunting and how they relate to the daughter whom the brother is falling in love with, prove to be a complex mystery. As they are compelled to solve it, the supernatural activity at the house increases to a frightening level.

Journey to the Far Side of the Sun (1969)

A planet is discovered in the same orbit as Earth's but is located on the exact opposite side of the sun, making it not visible from Earth. The European Space Exploration Council decide to send American astronaut Glenn Ross and British scientist John Kane via spaceship to explore the other planet. After a disastrous crash-landing Ross awakes to learn that Kane lies near death and that they apparently have returned to Earth, as evidenced by the presence of the Council director and his staff. Released to the custody of his wife, he soon learns things are not as they seem.

The Nutty Professor (1963)

Professor Julius F. Kelp (Jerry Lewis) is an addle-brained, absent-minded chemistry instructor always incurring the wrath of the university administration by continually blowing up the classroom laboratory. The shy guy has his eyes on the student body of Stella (Stella Stevens). When a football-playing bully humiliates him, Kelp tries to concoct a
chemical to help him gain physical strength and stature. The potion turns him into the handsome, hard-edged nightclub singer named Buddy Love. The mild-mannered professor's alter ego becomes a self-absorbed campus favorite at the Purple Pit, a hangout for hip cats and kittens. Stella falls for the enigmatic entertainer who wows the crowd with his
jazzy, breezy delivery and cool demeanor. Buddy mixes it up with the bartender (Buddy Lester), who is instructed on how to mix the latest drinks by the professor-turned-party animal. The drawback of the potion is that it wears off at the most embarrassing an inopportune times for Buddy, turning him back into the helpless Kelp.

The Railway Children (1970) DVDRip.XVid

"The comfortable lives of three Edwardian children are shattered when their father is arrested on suspicion of betraying state secrets. The children and their mother are forced to move to a modest cottage in the Yorkshire countryside, where their new lives centre around the local steam railway line."

This adaptation of E. Nesbit's story is now regarded as its definitive telling, its popular memory greater than that of her novel. It had been adapted for television in 1951, 1957 and 1968, and there are links between the latter serial and this feature film. Both used Yorkshire's Keighley and Worth Valley Preservation Railway and featured Jenny Agutter as Bobbie.

Writer-director Lionel Jeffries keeps the grimier aspects of the family's sudden descent from middle-class prosperity into poverty in the background. Instead the indomitable resourcefulness of the children shines through. The film celebrates childhood warmth and innocence and especially the unconditional love that exists between parents and children - Bobbie's conviction of her jailed father's innocence is the true spirit of the film.

Critic Dilys Powell called this a "deliberately nostalgic film". Despite their newfound poverty the children's innate joy for life is undiminished. Bobbie's birthday - albeit not as grand as she would have expected before - is rendered as a dreamlike moment, achieved visually by having Agutter 'float' (courtesy of a camera dolly). While dwelling nostalgically upon a perfect state of childhood the film also displays a love for Edwardian England. As well as invoking the romance of the steam age, Jeffries dwells upon period props like the toy Zoetrope that opens the film.
