HTML, XHTML, & CSS, Sixth Edition: Visual QuickStart Guide
HTML, XHTML, & CSS, Sixth Edition: Visual QuickStart Guide ISBN: 9780321430847 | Publisher: Peachpit Press | English | 456 pages | CHM | Wed Aug 16 2006 | 26Mb By Elizabeth Castro It's important for anyone who creates Web sites--even those who rely on powerful editors like Dreamweaver or GoLive--to know HTML. The World Wide Web Consortium rewrote HTML as a subset of XML (dubbing it "XHTML 1.0") and the allowable code will eventually be stricter. Tags that are being phased out are labeled "deprecated"--current browsers can still handle them, but if you want your site to keep up with future browsers, not to mention conform to accessibility requirements, you will want to get on top of XHTML.
Of course, Elizabeth Castro manages to write books that not only speak to those who are already fluent in HTML, but are good for newbies too. She makes it a breeze to create sites that are visually stylish and technically sophisticated without the expense of buying an editor.

Calvin D. Banyan “The Secret Language of Feelings" Banyan Hypnosis Centre | 2002-12-06 | ISBN: 0971229058 | 196 pages | PDF | 1,3 Mb This book reveals what people have wanted to know about the human condition from the very beginning of time: What are feelings for? Within its pages, you will discover the secret language of feelings. That language is a voice within us. Sometimes it is as soft as a whisper; sometimes it is as loud as a roar. It is an important voice, which, when fully understood, gives you a kind of guidance that no other voice can. The information in The Secret Language of Feelings was revealed during thousands of hours of working with hypnotherapy clients at the Banyan Hypnosis Center for Training & Services. It came from clients who spoke to us both in the normal waking state and in the state of hypnosis. You do not need to undergo hypnotherapy in order to benefit from this book; however, it would make a perfect companion book for anyone involved in any therapy process or working on self-improvement. The Secret Language of Feelings gives you a rational and reliable approach to understanding and responding to your feelings and emotions. It shows you how to create a more satisfying life right now! You will learn how to overcome anger, guilt, frustration, sadness, loneliness and even "everyday" depression. You will better understand yourself, your family and the people you interact with on a daily basis. In short, The Secret Language of Feelings offers the key to emotional rescue and beyond to happiness and success in life.

Eat Right for Your Type
Peter D'Adamo, Catherine Whitney “Eat Right for Your Type" Century | 1998-04-02 | ISBN: 071267716X | 384 pages | PDF | 1,5 Mb Reader's review: I was talked into being a vegetarian over 30 years ago by my OB/GYN because of the problems I was having staying pregnant. Eight (?) years ago, I discovered why it worked so well for me: because my blood type is A+. I have been following this diet since I became aware of it, and I recommend it highly!! The only thing I DON'T agree with is the nutritionist's insistence on supplementing a vegetarian diet with soy protein. Soy makes great ink but is not a good FOOD - for any living beings - in my opinion: too much protein and very hard to digest (unless it's turned into tofu or tempeh). Everything else in the book is right on, however!! Excellent information - will keep you healthy and happy!

Ethics and Sex
Igor Primoratz “Ethics and Sex" Routledge | 1999-07-08 | ISBN: 0415093341 | 220 pages | Doc | 1,5 Mb Ethics and Sex presents a systematic study of the nature and moral significance of human sexuality and the major issues in sexual morality. The book offers both a critical analysis of the key conceptions of human sexuality, such as discussions of the romantic approach to sex and the understanding of sex as body language, and addressess issues in sexual morality, including monogamy, adultery, prositution and pedophilia. Igor Primoratz shows that many of the prohibitions that make up conventional sexual morality cannot withstand critical scrutiny and should be rejected. He claims that there are no sexual ethics, since sex has no particular moral significance. Ethics and Sex provides an accessibly written introduction to the many issues associated with sexual activity.

Towards A One Planet 2012
Towards A One Planet 2012 LOCGPG | November 2007 | ISBN: 9780977920914 | 65 pages | PDF | 4.1 MB For six weeks in the summer of 2012, the eyes of the world will be on London as the city hosts the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. The 2012 Games will give people from around the world the opportunity to compete and to share cultures and friendship alongside the sporting events. The Games are a sporting and cultural event on a unique scale, but they are a lot more than that. They are an opportunity to show off the best that the host nation can offer. They give organisers the chance to demonstrate excellence in the way that the Games are planned and staged, and in the legacy of benefits that they create, both directly and through inspiring changes in behaviour among people across the world. London put sustainability at the heart of its bid for the 2012 Games, framed by the concept of ‘Towards a One Planet Olympics’. This was derived from the WWF/BioRegional concept of ‘One Planet Living®’1, which encapsulates the challenges facing us in stark and compelling terms: if everybody in the world lived the same lifestyle as we do in the UK, we would need three planets’ worth of resources to support us. As the most high-profile event in the world, the Games give us the chance to show how changes to the way we build, live, work, do business and travel could help us to live happy and healthy lives, within the resources available to us.

Problem Solving Methods
Dieter Fensel “Problem Solving Methods" Springer | 2000-10-27 | ISBN: 3540678166 | 154 pages | PDF | 1,4 Mb This book provides a theory, a formal language, and a practical methodology for the specification, use, and reuse of problem-solving methods. The framework developed by the author characterizes knowledge-based systems as a particular type of software architecture where the applications are developed by integrating generic task specifications, problem solving methods, and domain models: this approach turns knowledge engineering into a software engineering discipline. All in all, this work, as an applicable theory of knowledge engineering, consolidates research work done during several decades. The present popularity of Internet-based services will provide unprecedented opportunities for deploying and sharing knowledge-based services and anybody wanting to participate in this area can learn from this book what knowledge engineering is about.
