Shakespeare's beroemde A Midsummer Night's Dream krijgt een modern jasje in deze computeranimatiefilm met stemmen van Kim-Lian en Tygo Gernandt

Volgens de legende kunnen mensen tijdens de zonnestilstand door een magische wereld vol kabouters en elfjes reizen. Helena is een jong, intelligent en realistisch meisje dat niet in legendes gelooft. Haar vader Theseus is ernstig ziek en Helena zal er alles aan doen om hem de wil om te leven terug te geven. Ze gaat ondanks haar ongeloof op zoek naar Titannia, de koningin van de feeën. Op haar tocht wordt ze begeleid door de bankier Demetrius en de verwaande Lysander. Maar de magische wereld is door de mensen vergeten en niets is nog hetzelfde. De koning Oberon is een vadsig feestbeest die zijn tijd besteedt aan zijn groothandel in betoveringen. Hierbij wordt hij bijgestaan door Puck, een slim maar ondeugend trolletje.

De animatiefilm 'Midsummer Dream' is van oorsprong een Spaans-Portugese productie getiteld 'El sueño de una noche de San Juan'. Het verhaal is gebaseerd op het beroemde stuk 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' van William Shakespeare. In de Nederlandse versie worden de stemmen onder anderen verzorgd door Kim-Lian als Helena en Tygo Gernandt als Lysander. Regisseurs ?ngel de la Cruz en Manolo G?mez maakten samen in 2001 al de animatiefilm 'Het levende bos' (El bosque animado).

Dirk Pitt is back in fine form as he rescues two archaeologists from certain death in a Peruvian sinkhole. With his lifelong, wisecracking friend, Al Giordino, Pitt braves an uncharted underground river to rescue Loren and stop the Solpemachace. Cussler weaves Inca legends and lore in a spellbinding tale featuring enduring hero Pitt, a skin-diving Indiana Jones with a James Bond attitude. Cussler fans will demand this one.

Dirk Pitt, intrepid adventurer and master explorer, searches the Sahara for the deadly toxin that is killing marine life world wide. This audio, abridged by Harold Schmidt, lacks most of the adventure, as well as the humor, of Cussler's novels. Narrator Tom Wopat brings an unconventional vocal slant to the ever-cocky Pitt. Using lots of vocal characterization, Wopat brings across the smug brashness of Pitt and handles dialogue briskly. Enhanced by sound effects and small pieces of music, this is an interesting and perplexing mystery.
